Allergenics


In DrugBank, we subcategorize the biotech drugs according to their intrinsic properties. Allergens are antigens that produces an abnormally intense immune response in which the immune system reacts to a harmless substance (allergy). Hence, the allergenic subcategory is represented by concentrates of the antigen used for the diagnosis or treatment of allergic reactions. 1
