In DrugBank, a drug product is the representation of the final commercial preparation. It is a combination of active ingredients, [salt forms], and inactive ingredients. Each drug product specifies the active ingredients, the formulation strength of each ingredient, the dosage form, and the route of administration. Every drug product is associated with a code from a regulatory body such as an NDC code.
